They launched their first property fund in May 2013 with £155 million of equity and, once fully invested, launched Fund II with £106 million of equity in August 2014.
Both funds were combined when Regional REIT was incorporated in Guernsey on 22 June 2015 and its shares were admitted to the London Stock Exchange on 6 November 2015 as LSE:RGL.
In 2019, Stephen Inglis concluded a management buy-out of the property management, asset management and property development business of London & Scottish Investments (LSI) and created London & Scottish Property Investment Management (LSPIM).
LSPIM took over the property and asset management of Regional REIT and grew its development team with a new remit to pursue retail, commercial office, industrial and student housing projects. LSI continued pursuing residential property development as well as private equity opportunities. Although they are now separate entities, both companies still work closely together.
